What motivated you to take over a company at such a young age?
A combination of curiosity and passion. I have always loved trying things out. Since then it has become the biggest journey of my life. I have always had this passion for bringing ideas to life. A thought becomes a product. A product becomes a company. For me it is one of the most fascinating processes there is.
What excites you every day about your work?
The metal we work with is alive and tells a story just like we do. And that is exactly the story I want to share with you.
At the same time a community is growing around ZinCuTec. I am surrounded by creative minds who truly want to make a difference. My team motivates and inspires me every single day. And that is the energy we share with the world.
What has been your biggest challenge so far as a young entrepreneur?
Switching off… yet I still believe that when it is your obsession you simply cannot help thinking about it all the time. It is like a good relationship. The spark keeps you young and dynamic and as long as it stays authentic you will not burn out.
What inspired you to dive into the world of designer furniture?
The material is made for it high quality and long lasting. Even the ancient Egyptians built with it so why not bring it back into our living rooms
Spaces reflect the character of a person. This idea has always fascinated me. A beautiful room welcomes you without saying a word. It has an effect it invites you in it creates harmony especially for the eye.
What are your long term goals for the company?
Creating a work culture where everyone wins that is my goal. I believe that when artists and makers come together something great emerges. This mindset lives within our company and that is exactly what we want to share through our craft through everything we do.
We look to the future with anticipation and optimism and we shape it together.
